COMPOSITION:

Chlorhexidine Gluconate I.P.0.2% w/v

Sodium Fluoride I.P. 0.05% w/v

Zinc Chloride I.P 0.09% w/v

 

DESCRIPTION:

Sensoseal mouthwash contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Sodium Fluoride and Zinc Chloride. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a disinfectant and topical anti-infective agent to prevent oral plaque. It is antimicrobial and bactericidal. Sodium Fluoride is used to prevent cavities. It makes teeth more resistant to decay caused by acid and bacteria. Zinc Chloride is a necessary trace element in the diet, forming an essential part of many enzymes and playing an important role in protein synthesis and in cell division.

 

INDICATIONS:

Treatment & prevention of gingivitis & maintenance of oral hygiene.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this preparation.

 

SIDE EFFECTS:

Tongue discoloration, mucosal irritation, reversible brown staining of the teeth.

 

USAGE:

For treatment and prevention, swish in the mouth for one minute. Do not wash mouth, eat or drink thereafter for 20 minutes. For prolonged use, take 1:1 dilution of Sensoseal mouth wash with plain water.

 

WARNING:

Not to be swallowed.

 

STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
